These are first-generation Douglas Fir beams that were used during World War II by allied forces as structural support beams for munition barracks.
Seen on HGTV being used to create a fireplace mantle with aesthetic columns
Each one was painted with a unique designation to assist troops with construction making every one of these beams one-of-a-kind!
They have a beautiful rustic look when cleaned up!
